Course
information:
Following on from the Open Water course, Adventure dives are
intended to introduce newly qualified divers to the many types
of underwater experiences whilst still under the supervision of
a PADI professional. To qualify for the Advanced Diver certification,
divers
are required to complete 2 compulsory dives in Navigation and
Deep diving, followed by 3 additional adventure dives of the divers
own choice. |

Adventure dives include wreck, drift, boat,
enriched air (nitrox), night, dry suit, peak performance buoyancy,
digital
photography, marine identification
(naturalist), fish identification and search and recovery. |
Advanced
divers are then qualified to dive to 30m with another advanced
qualified diver, and may then enroll on the
PADI Rescue Diver course and any Speciality
courses.

Duration of Course:
3 days, (Although tecnnically possible to
do it in 2 days, a 3 day schedule is preferable, although in fact
2 and a half days is the norm.)
Minimum age:
12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification,
15 for full Advanced Open Water Diver. |

Prerequisites:
a. PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent entry level qualification).
b. Review, complete and sign the PADI Liability Release
and Assumption of Risk Agreement prior to entering the water.
c. Review, complete,sign and date the PADI
Medical Statement. If the new diver answers 'yes' to any condition
on the medical statement, the diver must receive medical approval
prior to any in-water activities.
d. Review, complete, sign and date the PADI Standard Safe Diving
Practices Statement of Understanding.
e. Parent or guardian signature for new divers younger than legal
age. |

£535.00 (This price includes 3 boat dives)
N.B.
Prices are based on 2 students. If you are booking as an individual
and would prefer to take advantage of this reduced price, we always
endeavor to group suitable divers together. However, if you would actually
prefer a one to one option, please call us.
The shop at Divers Down is well stocked with all basic equipment
which can be purchased prior to starting your course.
