How
to find us.
General directions. Swanage is easily located
at the end of the A351.
If you are arriving in Swanage from the Sandbanks car ferry you
will enter the town along the sea front and you will see Swanage
Pier at the far end of the bay. Simply follow the road along keeping
the sea to your left and you will eventually come to the pier.
The other way to arrive would be via Wareham and Corfe Castle.
In this case the town centre signs would either lead you to the
sea front in which case turn right keeping the sea on your left
and you would also arrive a the pier. The other possibility would
be to arrive by entering the top of the main shopping street or
Station Road. This is a one way street, simply drive to the end
and turn right at the bottom following the one way system. Keeping
the sea on your left you will see the pier ahead of you.
The dive school is actually on the pier and can
be easily found on your right, just before you get to the Divers
Down shop and air station.

Parking.
There is parking available on the pier itself, and during the week
there is rarely a space problem. At weekends however, especially
during the summer, the pier can be very busy and even full by 08.00.
There is a pay and display car park very close by and the pier has
hand trolleys to help you transport your dive gear along the pier.
The pier is run by a registered charity,
Swanage Pier Trust. Your
entry and parking fees will help to contribute to the on-going restoration
work of this Victorian listed building.
