Course information. Emergency
First Response is an innovative first aid program with comprehensive
instruction in Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (first aid).
Primary Care (CPR) prepares students to render aid to those with life-threatening
emergencies. Secondary Care (first aid) builds upon what students
learned in Primary Care and helps them assist those in need when Emergency
Medical Services (EMS) are either delayed or unavailable.

Scene Assessment,
Barrier use,
Primary Assessment,
Rescue breathing,
One Rescuer, Adult CPR,
Serious bleeding management,
Shock Management,
Spinal Injury Management,
Conscious Choking Adult,,
Emergency Oxygen Use.
Duration of Course.
Approximately half day for Primary Care only, full day including
Secondary Care.
Minimum age. 10
Prerequisites. All are
welcome. Scuba divers, boat enthusiasts, friends and family.
Cost. £90.00 for Primary Care only, £105.00 including
Secondary Care.
