Course information:
The PADI Rescue Diver course is designed to train individuals as
self-reliant divers, learning to recognize and prevent potential
problems and deal with emergency situations confidently and effectively.
This comprehensive course includes a manual, theory sessions, confined
and open water skills practice and culminates in full open water
rescue scenarios. Minimum equipment required-mask, fins and snorkel,
although at this level most students would have alot of their own
kit. The shop at Divers Down is well stocked with all basic equipment
which can be purchased if required. |

Prerequisites:
a. PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent) and
25 logged dives for certification.
b. Review, complete and sign the PADI Liability Release
and Assumption of Risk Agreement prior to entering the water.
c . Review, complete, sign and date the PADI
Medical Statement. If the new diver answers 'yes' to any condition
on the medical statement, the diver must receive medical approval
prior to any in-water activities.
d. Review, complete, sign and date the
PADI Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement
of Understanding.
e. Parent or guardian signature for new divers younger
than legal age. |
