Course information:
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program introduces people
to scuba diving in a highly supervised and relaxed manner. It
dispels common misconceptions about scuba by letting individuals
try it for themselves. Under the guidance of a PADI professional,
new divers learn basic safety concepts, put on equipment and
swim around underwater in a closely supervised environment.
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program can take place in a swimming
pool, protected confined open water and at an open water dive
site such as Swanage Pier.
|
|
After
trying scuba, many new divers may decide to repeat the experience,
if not immediately, then on other occasions or in different locations.
Others may choose to pursue certification by enrolling in a
PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course.
If all course requirements are met during your Discover Scuba Diving
experience, credit can be carried forward to your PADI Scuba Diver
or Open Water Diver course. Please ask us for details.

(This is the version which will have to be completed prior
to diving.) Having checked, if you did have a 'YES',
see below for important information.

|
VERY IMPORTANT:
MEDICAL CLEARANCE FOR DIVING.
Please click here to review and download the PADI
Medical Statement
Required for all PADI in water courses. You will be required
to sign this. Any 'YES' answer would also require a doctors signature
before any in water training can start. For this reason if you do
require a doctors signature it is best to download the form and get
this signed before arriving to start your course. We suggest you start
with your own GP and if they are not happy to sign it, then a diving
medical by a qualified diving doctor may be required. If you do require
help or more information regarding this please do not hesitate to
contact me. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, NO IN WATER ACTIVITIES CAN TAKE PLACE
UNTIL THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE COMPLETED.
It is rarely the case that diving is not possible.
