Designed to train divers who wish to dive to depths between 39m and 60m using trimix (helium based gas mixtures) to reduce narcosis to acceptable levels.
IANTD Advanced Nitrox diver.
Proof of minimum 100 logged dives, of which 30 were deeper than 27m or sufficient experience doing technical dives to satisfy us that the student has the ability and knowledge to continue at this level of training.
20 CCR dives, 25 hours on CCR being used.
Academic theory sessions and exam
Confined water session.
300 minutes in water training over a minimum of 4 dives using trimix.
3 dives must be deeper than 39m and 1 must be to minimum of 54m
Minimum 2 X 7L stage / bail out cylinder
in O2 service.
2 X 11L recommended
2 timing devices minimum or dive computers
Knife or Cutting tool.
Orange & Yellow DSMB and reel or spool.
Some accessory equipment is available for hire if required.
OC bailouts and Diluent flushes
Solenoid failed closed and open drills
OC bailout ascents
Stage cylinder work, use, removal and replacement drills
SCR use and Emergency procedures
Decompression systems. lazy shots
DSMB deployments standard use and as signaling device
